Spring Salmon fishing continues to be good on the Upper Rogue River. We are averaging three to five fish per day, with an average weight of 18 lbs. With the regulation changing as of July 1, anglers are able to keep one “Wild” Salmon too.

At the coast, the first signs of the Fall Salmon run are starting to show. An early report of a 40 lbs Chinook being caught, maybe a great sign for things to come.

Bill will be heading out to the coast soon, so for those of you who still wish to catch Spring Salmon this season, don’t wait too long, fishing is still good, but time is running out.

Congratulations to Lyn H. of Walnut Creek, CA. She is the winner of a free day at the coast fishing for Fall Chinooks. Thank you to everyone who registered their email addresses with us, and we hope to see you soon!
