Well, last week of the season at the coast couldn’t have ended on a better note. There were hundreds of Silvers coming into the Bay, all in the 12-15 lbs class. Unlike the Fall Chinooks, these fish were biting, with Bill landing 7 to 12 fish per day. Now, 99% of these Silver Salmon were “Wild”, so they had to be released back into the bay. But man, what a blast to hook into these fighters.

Bill will be taking some much needed R&R and will be headed out Elk hunting. Thanks to everyone who made the trip out to the coast. It was a pretty up and down season, but as we all know, “That’s fishing”

Bill will be back on the Rogue for a four day trip down the canyon on the 20th of October.
