With the occasional rains we have been getting, the river flows continue to fluctuate quite a bit during the week. Currently the levels have dropped to much more favorable conditions and if stays this way, fishing should get even better. Still, fishing did picked up a bit this week with most boats averaging three fish per day. The Salmon are still averaging around 20 lbs, with the occasional Springer tipping the scale at 30 lbs. As of Monday (5/31), 10,854 Spring Chinook Salmon have been counted over Gold Ray Dam.
