This week we continue fishing on the UmpquaRiver. With the recent bit of rain the rivers have received during the week and the raising water level, fishing got a little tougher each day. The beginning of the week started out pretty good, with two boats landing over twenty Steelheads for two days. As the week went on, and the water levels on the raise, we were still able to get a fair number of fish. We were still able to manage an average of four fish per day. Remember, most the fish caught on the Umpqua River are “Wild” and must be released back into the river.

These fish are in great shape and are a handful to bring in. Fishing should continue to be good throughout the next two months
